of the Cruising Club of America.  We were addressed by an old whaling Captain (Tetson?) who now is in charge of the Whaler Morgan, - a museum ship in New Bedford.  He made a very interesting yarn of his experiences with artic seas, artic overland travel, eskimos, whales, ships and sailors.  George [[?Bunker]] was there and we went home together.

he grasped my point of view.  Told him why I sooner would subscribe for Prospect House.  The Hospital needs, anybody could understand and any man or woman are easy to convince.  Other channels of service were more difficult to grasp by the average public.  I had mine whic few can understand.  Hence my efforts should be directed accordingly.
[[underlined]]Dec. 17.[[\underlined]]  Very busy day arranging for annual meeting, proxies etc.  All proxies are coming in many accompanied by letters of appreciation of my work.
