Filled several of the drawers with Grape fruit. Some first ripe mangoes and some king oranges. [[red underline]] Left 9 P.M [[/red underline]] Type of passengers decidedly better than in the rush season. Pleasant weather everything green.

Arrive [[underline]] May 13 [[/underline]] 12:30 P.M. Penn. station 30 minutes late.
Cloudy cold rainy weather. Went for lunch at U.C. then to office [[red underline]] Rossi in Europe. [[/red underline]] At office till 4 P.M. Arrive [[red underline]] Snug Rock everything green and in bloom [[/red underline]] but cloudy and cold. Greenhouses have been well arranged and [[red underline]] Japanese house of Crags has been removed [[/red underline]] Feel very tired and early to bed.
Another letter of [[red underline]] Jacobi [[/red underline]] first in two years. He [[red underline]] wants me to loan him another $25000. [[/red underline]]

May 14. Rain & cold. - What a change with Coconut Grove! Early to office there all day 
Redman there. Many formalities to go thru before we can purchase that plot for new factory at Bound Brook.
[[underline]] May 15 [[/underline]] Busy day at office, in conference with all our head men one after another. Talked over scheme of [[red underline]] profit sharing system with George, Gordon Brown and Redman.[[/red underline]] 
Supper at University Club. Violent wind 70 miles.

This afternoon went to Columbia met Jackson Hickson, McKee, Turner and Hendrick.
