Rigged up the little [[red underline]] Cape-cod [[/red underline]] sloop which I had sent from Yonkers and went out this afternoon for a sail with [[red underline]] Andrew [[/red underline]] which made me [[red underline]] forget all the Bakelite problems. [[/red underline]] Returning I found [[red underline]] Dr. Jeffrey with Dr. Sieplein, [[/red underline]] professor of Chemistry University of Miami

Nice pleasant weather the same old good tradewind. [[red underline]] Ludingtons [[/red underline]] beautiful ketch is at anchor in the Bay and looks very well. - Designs made by Commodore Ralph Munroe and his son.

Went out sailing alone all afternoon and went to see the [[red underline]] landing of the [[strikethrough]] flying [[strikethrough]] Airplane-boat from Cuba, at Dinner key. Looks very business like. [[/red underline]] boat shape and side pontoons underneath. Seems much [[red underline]] more reliable than the former land planes [[/red underline]] with wheels, used for this oversea service
[[underline]] Feb. 9 [[/underline]] Deposited $100 at Coconut Grove Bank and drew $100 cash. Went to Miami for my yacht license.
