We were gladly surprised to hear Cornelias voice over the phone announcing her arrival at Scarsdale from Boston where she landed yesterday. The last six days of storms in the ocean and almost continually wet and cold with no warm clothes except some she borrowed from one of the sailors. - She seems very cheerful and overlooking her recent streneous experience. I hope it may serve as a lesson against such foolish things.
Very busy here all sunday on pending business matters.

[[/red underlined]] Celine & I first thought it was the Radio. Then we came to conclusion it was a group of children of the neighbors singing in the garden. After they had sung several songs, Celine went to open the door to ask them in, while I hid myself behind the curtain of the dining room. 
Then to our intense surprise we found it was our own [[red underlined]] group of grandchildren Dicky Baekeland, Brooksie Baekeland, Celine Roll, Ninette Roll and Baekeland Roll [[/red underlined]] a most charming group of dear little children and a
