great help and that [[underline in red]] Dillon [[/underline in red]] has already brought out some items in our favor which we had overlooked in former negotiations with [[underline in red]] Union Carbide. [[/underline in red]]
Answered 3 last letters of George. Also wrote to Hays concerning [[underline in red]] Karpen's [[/underline in red]] letter whereby the latter wants [[underline in red]] to declare dividend because some stockholders (amongst which Karpen Brothers!) [[/underline in red]] have given this [[strikethrough]] stock [[/strikethrough]] [[underline in red]] preferred stock as collatiral [[/underline in red]]
Answered George about his letter complaining of Redman dodging a meeting for establishing a budget etc.
Also George wants to engage a man called [[underline in red]] Knudsen [[/underline in red]] for directly entering into practical work of [[underline in red]] Pantone. [[/underline in red]] - Wrote George there's no use doing this until the snag of the ink - question which Shrimpe has found out lately is settled

Afternoon Ludington and Herbert Stone here for a glass of my Grape-fruit Champagne
Evening went to Moving Pictures here. Very interesting subject "Tabu" all about South Sea Islands. A photographic masterpiece unusually well acted by South Sea Islanders
Also tremendously interesting pictures of African explorers catching animals alive

(See my ^[[two]] letters addressed to the Directors meeting)
