sitting there like a statue expressionless and immobile as I had met him. The suit was decided against him and shortly later I left for Japan. I thought after this trial that Eastman would have scant good feelings towards me in the future 
But the man grew immensely in point of view, generosity and good will towards others. After he had been humiliated when seeing his competitors in Germany having fine research laboratories, manned by 1st class chemists and physicists, he resolved to do the same thing
