This is Easter Sunday and a marvelous beautiful day it is which [[strikethrough]] I sh [[/strikethrough]] we spent here Celine and I quietly alone, everybody being away and no visitors. Afternoon Celine went to concert of Miami University with Judge Halsted Ritter and his wife. Received a list of net profits and dividends declared by Bakelite Corporation during the last ten years ending [[strikethrough]] 1930 [[/strikethrough]] Dec 31 - 1931 and find that notwithstanding an average yearly expense of about [[underlined in red]] $500000. for research [[/underlined in red]] we made in net profits after all writing of amortisation taxes etc and including a loss of $158000 for 1931, we made 18,463,986.00 net profit
