But now that my patents have expired they need no longer a license. But they are in friendly relations with Bakelite Gesellschaft says, Sachs, and are inclined to come to some friendly arrangement for cooperation in prices. - They make also laminated both in phenoplastics and in Aminoplastics.
The [[strikethrough]] presses u [[/strikethrough]] hydraulic presses used for Resopal are the same as for their phenoplastics, heated either by steam or by electricity. They only use higher pressures on account of lower flowing qualities namely

All facility was given to me to observe the operations. The molding pourer for Resopal is white or colored is weighed off and introduced in the molds. - Thus far they have not succeeded in preforming hence this weighing and pouring in later time but is done while the mold is in the press and the [[strikethrough]] next [[/strikethrough]] mold of the next press is thus charged.

such as [[strikethrough]] telep [[/strikethrough]] [[red underline]] white telephone [[/red underline]] receiver and 1 c.m. thick white toilet seats were fully conformed.  Samples molded beautifully and came out without any difficulty [[strikethrough]] and [[/strikethrough]] and so hot as to be unpleasant to handle. - Very thin fins showed good flow. The surface was very glossy. I took along several samples in several colors which were made under my eyes. No hitch whatever manufacturing went on its usual way.
Then visited the laminated department of Resopal.
Paper used was [[underline]] white unsized[[/underline]] paper so as to [[underline]]impregnate [[/underline]] not merely coat.
Coating machine was made principally of aluminium, paper dipping in through as usually around a ditto cylinder of about 6", to which is was fed as usually by feeding roll. Then wet paper conveyed over endless apron of aluminium (instead of the conveying outfit Bakelite Limited uses). This aluminium apron had numerous openings for ventilation and seemed more like a wide flat chain, [[strikethrough]] pro [[/strikethrough]] of which the elements were cleverly hinged together. In other words, a belt made of a large number of aluminium hinges. The usual heating and ventilating arrangements. Nevertheless there was a strong smell of formaldehyde. The slowly moving paper after drying was rolled up automatically.
As far as I remember, (I took no notes) the Resopal was made as follows, proper amounts of urea and sulfourea were dissolved
