shown any serious bad traits. [[/red underline]] Furthermore they get very well along together. [[red underline]] Celine R and Dickie are  excellent friends [[/red underline]] of about same age. The most advanced in her studies and head of her class is [[red underline]] Celine R. She is earnest, studious and intelligent, [[/red underline]] writes better than any, [[red underline]] loves her school work, [[/red underline]] plays piano, is very reliable and steady yet full of fun.

[[red underline]] Dickie [[/red underline]] Baekeland is [[red underline]] behind in her arithmetic  [[strikethrough]] and [[/strikethrough]] ^[[but]] like her mother is a [[strikethrough]] varo [[/strikethrough]] voracious reader of any book [[/red underline]] that falls in her hand. Is intelligent but prone to be ^[[somewhat]] indolent. Nor does she possess the skill with her hands that Celine R. has. The latter as well as [[red underline]] Ninette is a good cook [[/red underline]] and can prepare a meal and serve it nicely when called upon and likes to do it.
