I weighed out enough "grape-sugar" (11 lbs) to be added [[underline]] gradually [[/underline]] in solid form as fast as fermentation proceeds, so as to increase accordingly the alcohol contents and then later transfer in a 5 gall glass bottle to let the after fermentation proceed. The additions were made ^[[each]] after several days interval The start was made from a liquid volume = 7 gals x 8 = 56 pints marking 15% [[strikethrough]] Cho [[/strikethrough]] Sacharometer. Intend to add gradually 11 lbs. Grape sugar and started fermentation by adding first 2½ lbs.
