Received a stack of declaration of Trust funds created December 1933, from Holmgren, just one day too late after I have sent my own declaration yesterday.  It is calculation is about 900$ gift tax less than mine.  But this does not bother me in as far as my report is accompanied by full payment check and will be an introduction to further discussion of the subject on its merits.
George announces me that B.C. has again retained Baines for lobbying in Washington against new drastic contemplated legislation NRA.  Wired him that Baines income depends on creating scares and making mountain of a molehill. - He used the same tactics at the London conference describing all the calamities they intended to heap upon American Manufacturers.  At 5 P.M. visit of Dr. & Mrs. [[red underline]] Fairchild, [[\red underline]] then at 6 came the Ritters to

[[underline]] March 7. [[\underline]]  Wired Hays should ask extension for income tax returns for Trust funds unless he can send me in time the necessary forms and entries as they should be made.  All these Trust funds and separate tax returns for each, increase enormously my yearly tasks as to income taxes.
