There were also 3 or 4 friends of George [[underlined in red]] swimming in his pool. [[/underlined in red]]
Evening [[underlined in red]] Ninette [[/underlined in red]] arrived here from her school and was joined by her father. She stayed over night! She [[underlined in red]] talks faster than anybody [[/underlined in red]] I know and with a rather snappy accent. [[strikethrough]] calling [[strikethrough]] pronouncing "kimp" for camp. etc. Looks healthy but [[underlined in red]] seems nervous. This may be [[/underlined in red]] the [[underlined in red]] cause of her petty mischief and [[/underlined in red]] school troubles. Let us hope she will grow out of it.
[[underlined]] June 18 [[/underlined]]. Went to office. Rossi away at dentist. George tells me that Rossi has had much trouble with his teeth. He has aged much by his receding lips and toothless speech. Sanford Brown and his brother Gordon are at a golf Club somewhere where General Motors men are assembling.
