[[underlined]] Feb 25 - 26 [[\underlined]]  Letter of [[red underlined]] Gordon Brown [[\red underlined]] announcing that the monthly [[red underlined]] "Fortune" [[\red underlined]] is about to publish an article on Synthetic plastics which contains a number of false statements [[red underlined]] inspired probably by Catalin, Durez etc. [[\red underlined]]  He sends me a copy of his corrections.  What I dislike most is their statement [[red underlined]] that Redman is not on speaking terms [[\red underlined]] with me.  So I telegraphed him to insist to withdraw this lie.  He telegraphed me back that the article is to appear tomorrow but that Editor has changed

Letter from George who has returned from his vacation which enjoyed much and plans now to charter schooner of his friend Ford, to cruise in July with his wife and children South of Cape Cod.  This instead of going to Europe as he first planned.
[[underlined]] Feb 27. [[\underlined]]  [[red underlined]] Richard Seabury [[\red underlined]] and his wife and the son of [[red underlined]] Dr. Weston & his wife visited [[\red underlined]] and tasted my wine.  Pleasant meeting.

Finished my Income Tax returns for 1935 for Federal and N.Y State.
