main tendency was to buy enough raw materials to last us one year. - He took the initiative of extending these purchases to cover us for at least two years in view of our extending production. It so happens now that there is a shortage of cresol and [[underlined]]we have without knowing it cornered the cresol market. [[\underlined]] Result is that our competitors or others who are making their own phenol-resins are helpless. Even [[underlined]] Barret wants us to sell some of our cresol [[\underlined]]. Some of them had several runs which "solidified" on them. They are now becoming again our customers
George tells me our [[underlined]] net [[\underlined]] earnings for 1936 will be close to [[underlined]]$1,400,000 [[\underlined]] Another important development is our [[underlined]] "Resibond" paper [[\underlined]]. machines and which after drying can be kept and shipped. By putting such [[underlined]] Resibond [[\underlined]] paper between veneers and wood and applying heat and pressure an excellent regular bond is established. Furthermore by applying on any surface then heat while pressed, the A melts and gives a transparent coating, quicker, cheaper & better than if Bakelite Varnish is applied.
The [[underlined]] "Luxene" [[\underlined]] department is also rapidly increasing its sales. Luxene has earned the faith of the dentists who have so often been disappointed by newly heralded products, to the detriment of their reputation.
