Mr [[red underlined]] David Hutchinson [[/red underlined]] the painter who is making the murals for Yonkers Carnegie Library, came here [[strikethrough]] by [[/strikethrough]] to take me to his studio on Hawthorne Ave. where he showed me the unfinished panels he is making.  [[overwritten]] Dr [[/overwritten]] David Hutchinson is undoubtedly a good artist as shown not only by the mural subject but the numerous sketches hung on his walls. The [[red underlined]] likeness of Pupin, [[/red underlined]] George [[red underlined]] Eastman [[/red underlined]] and the brothers Wright is not good. [[strikethrough]] He also [[/strikethrough]] This is due to the fact that he did not have access to good photos. My head is made in profile. At first sight I thought it was the portrait of Rudyard Kipling. Promised him to provide good photos of Eastman, Pupin and of the Wright brothers. Advised him to study the excellent painted portrait of Pupin by Carl J. Blenner at the University Club. [[red underlined]] Hutchinson is a Scot [[/red underlined]] who studied painting in Antwerp.  
Stayed in Yonkers this afternoon.
