Afternoon [[strikethrough]] after [[/strikethrough]] we had visit of Mr. [[red underline]] Hans Lagerlaef [[/red underline]] Received a telegram that Dr. [[red underline]] Elihu Thomson, the great electrical inventor [[/red underline]] had died in his [[red underline]] 82 year. [[/red underline]] - [[strikethrough]] Ans [[/strikethrough]] Another man gone who has been kind enough to honor me with his friendship and inspired me by the nobility of his character, as well as by his great work. Wrote many more belated letters 
[[underline]] March 15. [[/underline]] Sun & rain alternating. Afternoon went to Miami to visit the Henry Ford Exposition and Ripleys "Believe it or not"
