[[/underlined]] Radio since 4 AM this morning reporting [[underlined in red]] Coronation of the King in London [[/underlined in red]] continuing all morning the [[underlined in red]] coronation ceremonies.  [[/underlined in red]] At 2:15 P.M. our (Standard Time) King George delivered his speech.  With my ear close to the Radio I heard him whisper very softly: "Some coffee"; before he began in very slow way, each syllable of [[strikethrough]] its [[/strikethrough]] each word [[strikethrough]] almost [[/strikethrough]] slowly pronounced, as if he were reading it like a schoolboy who has just learned to read.  In one or two instances I heard someone prompt him with a word.  Voice of the King was very deep and monotone.  Altho' his voice resembled somewhat that of [[underlined in red]] his brother Edward, his predecessor, now retired [[/underlined in red]] it [[strikethrough]] was [[/strikethrough]] reminded me also [[underlined in red]] that of his father [[/underlined in red]]
Got letter from Celine at camp where she is now with [[underlined in red]] Alice Kendall [[/underlined in red]], who has changed her departure for Scotland and [[underlined in red]] will travel with Celine on the  Isle de France, that leaves [[/underlined in red]] on June 14.
While writing a letter to Professor [[underlined in red]] Kendall [[/underlined in red]] telling him our plans for the Edinburgh visit, I got one from him calling my

attention that the hotels in Edinburgh had already sold out their rooms for the period June 23 - and [[underlined in red]] coronation [[/underlined in red]] [[strikethrough]] week [[/strikethrough]] [[underlined in red]] week [[/underlined in red]].  Got also a letter from Manager of [[underlined in red]] North-British Hotel Edinburgh [[/underlined in red]] to that effect  So [[strikethrough]] wired [[/strikethrough]] cabled immediately to Kendall to [[underlined in red]] reserve us two rooms [[/underlined in red]] from June 28 [[underlined]] until Saturday July 3. [[/underlined]] Went to Dr. [[underlined in red]] Wielage [[/underlined in red]] for having xray picture made of my teeth.
Afternoon drove to [[underlined in red]] Col. Montgomery's Estate with Andrew [[/underlined in red]] The garden has been much extended and improved since last year.  Montgomery has returned north.
On returning here had visit of Mr. R & W. Richardson and his wife who came to take the two paintings of Celine for the coming exhibition.

Isle de France to arrive at Havre [[/underlined in red]] May 20.- accompanied by Mrs. Grenade & Alice Kendall  
This morning 11. A.M. went to Dr. [[underlined in red]] Wielage [[/underlined]] and Dr. [[udnerlined in red]] Misner [[/underlined]] to examine my dentures and general inspection.  Everything
