Then lecture first by [[red underlined]] Dr. Marston Bogert describing reminiscences of Chandler [[/red underlined]] and some of his jokes and witticisms etc. Very well presented. Then lecture by [[red underlined]] Tom. Midgeley [[/red underlined]] with lantern slides: Title: Man-made molecules. Giving history of modern synthesis. - Then [[red underlined]] Tetrethyl Lead and organic fluor-compounds in motordom [[/red underlined]] and refrigeration. Excellent illustration by lantern

(who committed suicide some time ago. - No objections. This change in value of stock is made [[strikethrough]] on a [[/strikethrough]] because the [[red underlined]] new stupid tax laws compel us to pay out [[strikethrough]] absurdes [[/strikethrough]] absurdedly and dangerous dividends from so called surplus profits. He is again in [[red underlined]] excellent physical [[/red underlined]] condition and is on his way towards Florida. Beautiful day. But streets over-crowded with motor cars.
