This land about 75 acres is adjacent to Colonel Montgomery's Palm garden, and as far as I understand the latter, has donated this initial ground of Fairchild Tropical garden and has the intention of ultimately leaving his own Palm garden residence to it
A beautiful day and numerous participants and many ladies. Col. Montgomery put me on the receiving platform, together with the speakers. He was the director of the whole ceremony, introducing the speakers and lauding the admirable work of Fairchild.

Beautiful restful day with Celine at home. - No visitors. Celine & I walked to the Movie

I went with Andrew to visit the new Fairchild Arboretum, where Mr. Dahlgren and [[strikethrough]] others [[/strikethrough]] his helpers has begun work.

"Parrot Farm" a most interesting place, recently
