He also gave an interesting account of his experience as a witness on the Patent law committee, where his answers [[strikethrough]] wen [[/strikethrough]] ^[[were]] received with very favorable comments by the committee some saying he was the very best witness of all who had participated in the hearing. [[strikethrough]] I feel [[/strikethrough]] I feel very happy to note how George has developed in everything and how much more he is interested in his work since he married his present wife, who shows excellent traits and inspires him by her behavior.

Afternoon drove Celine to the new wooden house in the jungle which Mr. Deane the architect is building there near the Matheson Hammock. All the Fairchild's there also Dr. Grosvenor of the National Geographic society, his wife & grandchildren and other acquaintances.
