All the graduating girls in light, simple but graceful white dresses and dear Celine Roll at the head of them all [[strikethrough]] proceeding [[/strikethrough]] in a procession leading to the main hall where she received here diploma.  Her sister Nina, one year younger also at her best.  Also there brothers and the Wyman family.  Nina Baekeland Wyman and her husband and her two boys.  Also George Roll.  Reception after the Ceremony.  The lady principal of the school complimenting us etc.
So as to avoid awkward situation towards George Roll Celine and I drove away to take our luncheon on a road side restaurant. xx (June 15)

Later we drove further to the school at Avon where Brooksie Baekeland is graduating.  Met there George Baekeland and his wife who just had arrived.  Brooksie seems entirely over his recent illness.  Main Hall, entirely filled by pupils and visitors.  Some good addresses, followed by a light luncheon.

After which we drove Red Lion Inn, owned and run by brother in law of Wyman.  Old [[strikethrough]] Boston [[/strikethrough]] Massachusets hotel.  With old relics everywhere.  Quiet, clean and restful, New England style  Good night's sleep and then

drove to Yonkers where we arrived at 4.30 P.M. after a most interesting trip.
[[underlined]] June 16 [[/underlined]]  [[strikethrough]] Restful day. [[/strikethrough]]  Preparing luggage for Ottawa etc.  Kekule photographs etc.
Got urgent letter from Hugh Matheson and Ralph Munroe urging protest against landing scheme of Pan American Air Ways.  So wrote immediately giving full power to act as my representatives to both.
This evening left for Ottawa on train [[strikethrough]] at Crotan Station 10.30 P.M. [[/strikethrough]] at New York Central Station 10 P.M.  Poor sleep!
[[underlined]] June 17 [[/underlined]]  Arrived Montreal West, 7.15 AM to change to train for Ottawa 8.02 A.M.

Fine weather, excellent rooms.  Few of the chemists had arrived thus far so had plenty opportunity for visiting neighbor past etc

Met Mr. Ganjean - Ecole Technique de Hull, who are fixing their exhibit

Lady Leverhulme & Nurse.  Celine & I met them at exhibit.  Lord Leverhulme has arrived
Looking at book exhibit I note that most of the books exhibited mention my work
