[[underlined]] Delaware [[/underlined]] wine 1936 which is clear has an [[underlined]] acerb [[/underlined]] taste being too dry. Adding some cane sugar to it cures this:
1000 c.c. of wine needs 10 lumps of Cane sugar to make it right.

That Mahogany Pram in the laboratory measures:

July 15. In Yonkers. Started distilling wine brew of 1935 which has turned cloudy and resists clarification. 4 gall's of wine gave 1 gal. of distillate 48%

[[/underlined]]  Dr. Whitaker came at 9 AM in his motor car to [[strikethrough]] t [[/strikethrough]] drive me to the new laboratories of the American Cyanamide Co in Connecticut. Enormous building built several years ago but looks entirely new and well built. Several floors and many departments with plenty of space: and abundant opportunity for installing new departments.
