them on a larger scale. Our recently begun acetate-cellulose department is working to full capacity and shall have to be extended. Am told that our cellulose-acetate is better than that of any of our competitors and General Electric Co is taking our full output
The paper coating machinery which one year ago was at its humble hesitating beginnings is now running continuously at full capacity, and all former troubles seem over.
Molinari is running his phenol distilling plant to capacity and has several able assistants working around him on various problems. Low has introduced an improved method for mixing molding materials which seems logical and a considerable improvement, insuring better homogenity.
What pleased me much is that our employes now have pleasant dining rooms and bath and shower installation as good as those of many clubs, and thus can rest and refresh themselves in this very sultry weather.

Low tells me that the acreage of our property in Bound Book is about 145 acres, of which about 60 is now taken in by the various buildings. So there is plenty of room for extension if increased business warrants it. -
We are still much troubled by pollution in our creek caused by carelessness of Calco Co. our neighbors.

Receiving enthusiastic letters of Celine about her trip and Brooksie Baekeland and Celine in England, Belgium and Switzerland; while I am rereading old letters of before and after our marriage, which Celine wrote me during our dark days. Full of love [[strikethrough]] and [[/strikethrough]] courage and stimulation when we were [[strikethrough]] are [[/strikethrough]] at our lowest point. All this seems like a dream, [[strikethrough]] and [[/strikethrough]] now, altho' a hard beginning then, Am glad her faith in me and her courage is now being well rewarded and gives her such happy days as the center of our whole family and adored by all.
