George showed me a [[underline]] very interesting letter from Brooks, [[/underline]] who wrote from Harvard describing his professors and [[underline]] his desire of making good [[/underline]] in his studies and [[strikethrough]] fo [[/strikethrough]] aims for the future.

[[underline]] A very striking letter full of wit, [[/underline]] clever observation and high aims. It is [[underline]] a great pleasure to see how that boy has developed, [[/underline]] during the last few years.
[[underline]] Oct 7. [[/underline]] Stayed in Yonkers. Beautiful clear day. Celine went to office to meet the Income Tax representative. My [[underline]] left lower jaw tooth [[/underline]] and gums cause [[underline]] pain. [[/underline]] Hope they may feel better tomorrow.
