Packed my valise for the [[underline]] trip to Rochester. [[/underline]] Teeth still suffering. Got my tickets for Rochester at the office. 
Wrote to [[underline]] Miami to obtain power to vote by mail at coming November election,  [[/underline]] for Celine and myself

At noon went to see the [[underline]] Congo moving [[/underline]] picture at the Globe Theater, exhibited by [[underline]] Armand Denis. [[/underline]] Marvelous piece of work and theatre packed to the limit. 
Surprisingly realistic reproductions of those wild lands and natives which seem to represent the human race as it was thousands of centuries ago.
Holmgren assures me that the [[underline]] wills of Celine and myself, [[/underline]]  made a few years ago, clearly state that we are [[underline]] citizens and residents of Florida. [[/underline]]
[[underline]] Oct 12 [[/underline]] Took [[underline]] Rochester [[/underline]] train from Yonkers at 8 AM. Few passengers, dirty train. Tooth pain intensified, makes it difficult to take food. Arrived [[underline]] Rochester [[/underline]] Seneca Hotel at about 6.P.M. Sultry weather unpleasant [[strikethrough]] was [[/strikethrough]] no ventilation in hotel.

At hotel met [[underline]] Dr. & Mrs. Fink [[/underline]] preparing for the session of Electrochemical Society also reporters. A man, "Saunders? -came to join me. Am not sure of his name [[strikethrough]] He is [[/strikethrough]] ^[[Is he]] the friend of Redman, whom we entrusted in Toronto with the initial manufacture of Bakelite coated paper to be converted in "laminated" and later on in England was entrusted with the same job. -

Then sent to Berlin as contact man for Bakelite to Bakelite Gesellschaft, and after the complications arising in Europe was called back to U.S. and discharged?

Sanford Brown, Rossi etc. putting all the blame on him; altho most was to blame on the laxity and error of Judgement of Brown & Rossi who had been led by the nose, while spending much time in Europe.

In the meeting the members applauded my name and desired to be addressed.
