[[red underline]] Anthony [[/red underline]] & Co, largest manufacturers and sellers of photographic supplies. - My engagement as their chemist. - Then [[red underline]] Jacobi [[/red underline]] offering to back me finantially in forming the Nepera Chemical Co. in Yonkers where I manufactured, photo-supplies of which the paper [[red underline]] "Velox" [[/red underline]] of my invention was so successful, that [[strikethrough]] Geore [[/strikethrough]] [[red underline]] George Eastman of Kodak fame, [[/red underline]] bought us out, and made me financially independent. - How then I went to [[red underline]] study electrochemistry at the Polytechnic University [[/red underline]] near Berlin. Then returning to New York did work as a [[red underline]] consultent. [[/red underline]] - Was engaged by [[red underline]] Hooker, electrochemical Co [[/red underline]] in

Niagara Falls, where at the [[red underline]] Hooker Chemical [[/red underline]] plant was put [[red underline]] in charge of construction and operation, working with Elmer Sperry and C.P. Townsend; while [[/red underline]] at the same time continuing my research work at my Yonkers laboratory. - Then my discovery of [[strikethrough]] Velox [[/strikethrough]] ^[[red underline]] ^[[Bakelite,]] [[/red underline]] in my laboratory in Yonkers [[red underline]] which made such a sensation [[/red underline]] after I had published my work, and the resulting endeavors [[strikethrough]] everyo [[/strikethrough]] and research in so many parts of the world in the study and further production of the plastics.
