suitable man for replacing him. That among many applicants there was one who had presented to Mrs. Baekeland; his excellent references. Having served in the [[underlined]] U.S. Coast guard, [[/underlined]] had a training as engineer, and had received excellent report when he left the Coast Guard. He is married and has only one child.
[[underlined]] Andrew became furious [[/underlined]] and lost his temper and protested. I told him the trouble his wife had caused us on similar circumstances. - He retaliated by [[strikethrough]] recited [[/strikethrough]] reciting and exagerating small matters which happened years ago and mostly caused [[underlined]] by his stupid half-witted wife. [[/underlined]] I finally claimed the whole thing by writing out a cash check for 600$ for him. I felt very irritated by his violent attitude and exagerations.
