[[underlined]] Wednesday ^[[7]] [[/underlined]] Celine stayed in bed all day, same pains. Felt better on evening when getting ready for her train. Dr & Mrs. Fairchild came to wish her pleasant journey and went with us and some other friends to the station Train leaves about 9 P.M.
[[underlined]] Thursday ^[[8.]], [[underlined]] Bright sultry weather Drove out to [[strikethrough]] see [[/strikethrough]] inspect the hurricane proof yacht shelter in which I intent to put the ION. Pleasant drive with Paul. Took Rowl along.

She had remained in bed most of the day complaining of pains, in her abdomen. She felt better by evening when we drove her by train to the [[strikethrough]] stati [[/strikethrough]] Railroad station. - There we met also Dr. Fairchild & Mrs. Fairchild. Everybody seemed happy.
