June 11. Celine seems almost as well as if she has not been ill. Our garden ground now rearranged look at their best in this beautiful weather. Received a very pleasant letter from Dr Nicholas Murray Butler, felicitating us for the recovery of Celine. 
[[underlined]] June 12. [[/underlined]] This morning beautiful weather. I took occasion to visit the splendid and vast gardens Of Sam Untermeyer who died some time ago and which 3 times a week are open to the public. I went there at 10.AM. and strolled slowly about the enormous property, which his heirs have been unable to sell or dispose of in some way [[strikethrough]] ore [[/strikethrough]] or another.
The birds were singing lustily among immense

trees and flower parks, surrounding fountains and [[strikethrough]] swim [[/strikethrough]] swimming tanks of marble and granit; adorned furthermore by greek marble statues and similar decoration. - What will become of it?
Celine's recovery keeps on  steadily 
[[underlined]] - June 13. [[/underlined]] Is going to New York for another massage by a specialist. 
[[underlined]] June 14 [[/underlined]] Flag day = Dick drove me to Yonkers where we had to get away, the streets being fully occupied by marching men and women and music.
So we drove to Nina's, through beautiful well kept succession of landscape.

Nina and her husband are going to a wedding this afternoon and are all dressed up for the occassion. Further improvement in Celine's health. She looks as well as
