2) The new baby is getting along well and Celine spent most of the day with Dickie and her child.
[[underlined]] November 29. [[/underlined]] That man Willike who lost against Roosevelt in the election seems to be trying again for coming election by defending a Russian nihilist and socialist as candidate (See the N.Y. Times of today! 
[[underlined]] November 30 [[/underlined]]. Beautiful day. Celine went to visit Dickie. Dickie as well as her recently born boy are doing very well. Tomorrow morning we shall visit them.
Spent all day at Snug Rock this afternoon the servants had their free day. - Celine and myself being all alone had an excellent opportunity for meditating about our members of the family and

their future. Dickies husband is intelligent and very active and of good aims. - We both think the same way. 
Celine and myself spent the afternoon and part of the evening, remembering our life together, our family, our friends, etc. as well as our early difficulties, followed by our successes hoping our children may fare as well and so our grandchildren to be. A very pleasant inspiring day.
This was an excellent opportunity of reviewing some of the many photographs of our children in their early days. One of them shows George and his early sister, near a hamanoe which then was a great toy to them when they were about 3 or 4 years old!
