Arriving at my mooring found that Gerhard von [[strikethrough]] Hesse [[/strikethrough]] Hesse was there with his little wife, daughter of George. They are leaving for Cuba where Gerhard has some business to attend. They stayed for supper, before flying to Cuba.
[[underlined]] Sunday March [[/underlined]] 7. Beautiful weather but still further bad news from Japanese countries. Fighting to dead goes on more in more, not only in Japan but also in Europe and Northern African countries.
Today was the first warm day, and the thermometer today showed 78 and 80. The highest temperature thus far

the coast, which is flanked by wild plant grow. Quite a bush. Weather was purfect. The man who lives near the very old coast tower, which has been there since the time of the Indians living on it [[strikethrough]] The [[/strikethrough]] He knows the [[strikethrough]] Munroes and [[/strikethrough]] Munros who occasionaly visited him.
No flies nor insects. [[strikethrough]] Was [[/strikethrough]] We were so much interested in his talk and the shore that we forgot that is was well over 3 P.M. So we returned homewards. Excellent wind drove our boat and we landed in our harbor at about 3 P.M. Beautiful weather. Celine has accepted an invitation for dinner to night. So I am attending to my correspondence and notes.
