Fight against the Japanese is keeping on. steadily. In Europe the Russians have fought the Germans pushing them violently ahead with great loss of their army.
[[underlined]] March 17. [[/underlined]] Got a copy of the Bakelite January review in which  [[underlined in blue]] my dear Friend Charles F. Kettering: [[/underlined in blue]] describes a thought provocing article on the numerous applications of my invention of Bakelite. Among many other statements he writes.
" It was not until 1907 when

" "Bakelite phenolic resinoids
" that plastics began to 
" assume anything of their
" present importance. - I have
" always had a very real
" appreciation for Dr. Baekeland's work.
