In office until 100 pm & there to nursery to see John. [[?]] in evening on salted duck, the last salted skin on the place.
Dec 3, 1933
At home all day. Worked in yard & about the house. Cleaned basement etc. In evening over to Carters to get an adult American Merganser. John shot 6 at his fathers duck lake. Skinned & salted it. Packed [[gup?]].
Dec 4, 1933
Left home at 900 AM. to office for mail & then left with Jewett at 1000 AM for eastern Oregon arriving at Fulkersons in a blinding snow storm at 400 pm
Dec 5, 1933
Left Fulkersons Camp at 800 AM & went via [[?]] to see Stone at Grass Valley. After a nice visit with him we went to northern Morrow & found Adam [[Knobloch?]] on the trap line. He had 4 coyotes there at 3pm. We went in from there & found our auto camp at Pendleton closed so came on over to LeGrande again in a blizzard arriving at 800 pm
Dec 6, 1933
Left LaGrande at 800 AM and stopped enroute at Forest OFfice Baker for conference with Dutton etc and then to Fortners office 
From there to Ontario & Nyssa. Missed Pud Long but saw Ray Larson & George Arken in Ontario. Arriving at 500 PM Saw a huge flock of Rosy Finches and a Pigeon Hawk near Ontario

Left Ontario 700 AM and visited upper valley. Saw a lot of gopher project
