  Sit in with Predatory Animal committee in resolution & with Virgil McWhorter of Resolutions committee.  Also meet Dr. Lynch who is head of Yakima Conservation League a radical conservation organization & against Forest Service - Bio Survey and all the rest.  Attend Wool Growers Banquet & confer with many others this evening.  Met Wardwell of magpie work.

  Conference with Drolet game warden & his deputy Brown.  Both fine looking men & more than usually broad minded.  With Finley out to Jackson range to go over poison lines but didn't get thru to Gunoes cabin.  In evening with Finley

  With John B. Hurley to a canyon where we saw many hundred rosy finches and a lot of robins & juncos & a sprinkling of other birds.  In PM. left for Spokane at 300 PM & arrived at 900 PM

  Conference [[strikethrough]] Finley [[/strikethrough]] Connors, Williams & Morse in a.m.  Visit with Ranesom.  In P.M call on county agent Green & Dr. Benard & Mr Walker sec of Cheney Chamber of Commerce.  Return to Spokane late.  Clements out of town until Wednesday
