In office general work. To hotel in P.M., & in evening to Bill Ruchers where we had fine party. Met a Mr & Mrs Carlstromer from Clarendon and enjoyed them very much.

Slept in morning played golf with Redington, Crouch & Silver in P.M. weather squally & terrible.

Met the new Chief. Nice appearance and pleasant to meet. More & more convinced that we are not going to be abolished.
