Tired & hot tonight June 27, 1935 Send Treuch a list of birds seen on Wichita. Spent day going over the Forest Looking at dams etc. Hot & sultry. Went around forest in P.M. June 28, 1935 Left Wichita at 500 AM in a vicious rain storm which flooded the road and forced us to go back by Cache. We drove hard all day thru a dry & dusty Kansas & Oklahoma arriving at Pueblo at 1030 PM tired out & sleepy
