Interview with Don Spencer & President Schautz and catch a train for San Antonio at 10.45M.  On train balance of the day writing as we went thru west Texas.

Wrote this morning and visited some with a little New York broker.
Off at San Antonio at 3.30.  Visit with Whithead & Sandon and on to Corpus Cristi arriving at 11.00PM.  Got off a bunch of letters & telegrams at San Antonio.
Saw hundreds of [[underline]] Scissor tailed Flycatcher[[\underline]] coming into San Antonio & out again just before dark.

Conference with Congressman Kleberg and arranged a conference with his cousin Caesar Kleberg at Kingsville.  Followed Caesar to the races to see him  then on to the Norias Ranch (part of the King Ranch) arriving at 9.00PM.
