Went over Lower Walsh ditch also a fine project. Saw few birds and had a good walk. Saw our attorney Brightwell and traveled to Green Bay Wis. arriving at midnight.

Up at 6:00 and on road all day arriving at Brown County State park at 10:00 PM with Dan Jantzen.
Sept. 6, 1936
Over development of park with [[swimmers?]]. Fine area. Conferred with group & left at 3:00 pm from North Vernon with Frank Bell on B&O
Sept. 7, 1936
Arr. Washington at 7:30 AM. Home for breakfast and then out to Beltsville with Clara & the kids. Collected six warblers 2 [[underline]] yellowthroats [[/underline]] - 2 [[underline]] Pine warblers [[/underline]] 1 [[underline]] Redstart [[/underline]] & 1 [[underline]] Hooded Warbler. [[/underline]]. Birds hard to see. Almost non existent.

In office all day. Conferences with many people. Terry Carpenter & Tarrent cover Hart Mt. Things finally O.Ked & straightened out

Worked in office all day on mail & other routine matters. Red Rock Lakes up for more consideration

More of the same. Out to Cooleys for dinner
