Feb 12, 1937 Repetition of yesterday a hard day. Feb 13, 1937 Trip to Beltsville but had to go to See's ffice at last minute. Clara & kids went on out and took Jewetts with them. Dr Morley came & took me out later. First picnic but too late for many birds. Jewett got three or four and then we came home to skin them hear. Beautiful day. Fine picnic Feb 14, 1937. Rained like the old Harry all day and I [[strikethrough]] 'm [[/strikethrough]] stayed at home & worked. Feb 15, 1937. More of the same grind but we seem to be going places so I can stand it. Feb 16, 1937. Spent a lot of time working over things in secs office. On the job in the office. Feb 17, 1937. Worked over the regional set up today & we had a long talk over it with Day & the others Bureau party - a success & I enjoyed it very much Feb 18, 1937 Had to send Bill to Cornell to represent me as Sec called for a meeting in his office. tomorrow Feb 19, 1937 Attended secret meeting on secret subject that nearly everyone in the Dept knew about. Feb 20, 1937 At office again all day worked until late. Feb 21, 1937 At home all morning. Went to [[?]] for dinner with them Welmores & Jewetts in the worst rain storm I've seen in years.
