May 9, 1937.
   To Beltsville for a picnic. about 30 people present including Tracy Storer & his wife.
Home in evening all tired out.
May 10,1937.
   In office all day catching up on many things.  Salyer in & we started rehashing our program.  Told Dieffenbach to [[tweek?]] his organization which was hard lines. Storer in for a short time.
May 11, 1937
   Worked hard in office with Salyer & others in revamping program.  Storers out to dinner.  Left on 12:30 AM train for NY
May 12, 1937
   Arr N.Y. 7:20 AM. had breakfast.  Visit with Bob [[Lumion?]] & then downtown to lunch with Guy.  To Newbold Herrick's office & out to Long Island with him.  Visited with him & went to see Jones Beach & also Hempstead reservoir.
May 13, 1937.
 To Flanders Club to look over the project.  Some of their black ducks look good others are rather sorry looking blacks.  Orson Munn met us for lunch & we had steamed clams & baked weakfish.  Landed at Mineola at 4:00 PM took train & met Clara June for dinner to Pennsylvania Hotel dining room.   Caught 11:30 PM train out over Lehigh Valley.
May 14, 1937.
Arr. Ithaca at 6:19 AM and had a nice day except for rain.  We met Osborne
