Left Monterrey at 9:00 AM and arrived at Vallis at 6:00 PM. Crossed the State of Taumalpias [[Tamaulipas]] & into San Luis Potosi of which Vallis is the capital. Ate lunch in Victoria capital of Tamalpias [[Tamaulipas]]. Monterrey both last night and in the daylight impressed me as much Americanized.
