Clara & I left at 10.00A.M and drove to Annapolis. Had lunch & took 1.00PM ferry. Went to Cambridge and thence to Blackwater in pouring rain. Examined buildings and ponds at headquarters. Saw few ducks except mallards & geese tamed there. Young Black & his birds are very happy there and have a wonderful chance to get going on real biological survey work.
