[[underlined]] 4th Jan. 1926 [[/underlined]] A.M. Gwynne brought me a freshly hatched [[male symbol]] ichneumon, [[long space]], bred from pupa of [[long space]] taken during 1925 at St. Columba's College Co. Dublin!

[[underlined]] 11th Jan. 1926. [[/underlined]] A [[female symbol]] Cynipid, [[underlined]] Andricus [[/underlined]] [[long space]], found in box full of grass &c. after return from Powerscourt, Co. WI. A very wet, very mild day. The specimen may have come from grass & leaves, or from bark of [[underlined]] Auricaria [[/underlined]] log bearing a myxo!

Cocoon of [[underlined]] Trichiosoma [[/underlined]] frequent on trunks of birch trees : all empty except one taken by A.A. Lisney, who also dug up at foot of - tree a menbranous born, empty, cocoon which looks like that of [[underlined]] Cimbex femorata [[/underlined]].
Some galls were collected on Willow leaves.

10th Feb. 1926. A. A. Lisney reported Willows in flower near Shankill Co Dublin!

No luck with "Portmarural" in Ireland. "Glenmacnas" is slightly misspelled (Glenmacnass) @siobhanleachman - what looks like EO'17 is actually Eugene O'Mahony a fellow collector and also co worker at the his museum. Edited to EO'M
