Also cocoon of Crabro? from stump at foot of Gold Mines Valley. They hatched at end of May & [[prosed?]] to belong to [[underlined]] C. leucostomus [[/underlined]] 
NB. A wonderful day mild, calm & with hot sun nearly all day : may willows already over. The only [[female symbol]] Andrena seen was the [[underlined]] gwynana [[/underlined]] captured at gravel bank S. of Arrea, E. [[insertion]] left bank [[/insertion]] side of Arvamore!

21/3/26. Magherabeg & valley of three-mile River, S. of Ardmore Point, Co. WI. Also [[underlined]] Vespa rufa [[/underlined]] [[female symbol]] seen at Willow.

[[underlined]] Andrena gwynana [[/underlined]] [[male symbol]] & [[female symbol]] sunning themselves on bluffs.
NB. A very cold day with east winds : only one good sun burst for 1 hour. No Andena [[2 male symbols]] sun at Willows, which were in full flower.
Magnificent ground along rim & sandhills!

28/3/26. The Dargle (upper end).
[[underlined]] Halictus albipes [[/underlined]]. One [[female symbol]] on Taraxacum near sandpit by the river.

A mild day with misty sun turning to a drip after 3 p.m. 
No sign of [[male symbol]] Andrena seen  anywhere

31/3/26 & 1/4/26. The former was a dull day but on the latter the afternoon was warm & sunny.
Castletown & Hill of Ushnagh district, Co. Westmeath (WH).
Only a few willows showing flower, most not out about bog S. of Lunestown House. No bees seen, not even a bumble, until train was moving out of Castletown station on second afternoon : this an apparently [[female symbol]] 
Andrena (like [[underlined]] nigraenea [[/underlined]]) seen on Dandelion in cutting [[checkmark]].

2/4/26. Megherabeg & Ardmore Point Co. WI. 12.30 till 3 p.m.
A warm, sunny, day with gentle E. breeze.
[[underlined]] Bombus lucorum, terrestris [[/underlined]] (at [[underlined]] [[Cyinga?]] [[/underlined]]), [[underlined]] hortorum [[/underlined]] (at [[underlined]] [[Cyinga?]] [[/underlined]]), [[underlined]] muscorum [[/underlined]] (in dunes?), & [[underlined]] agrorum [[/underlined]]  (at [[underlined]] [[Cyinga?]] [[/underlined]]) [[2 male symbols]] seen. [[checkmark]]
[[underlined]] Andrena gwynana [[/underlined]] [[female symbol]] seen at same spot as on 21/3/26.
" [[Ditto for: Andrena]] [[underlined]] minutula [[/underlined]] [[female symbol]], fresh at same spot.
Also one or two ? [[male symbol]] Andrena seen at distance : no sign of Andrenas at Willows or Blackthorn : latter at best!

I've tried variations for the word that looks like "Cyinga" and came up with nothing. @siobhanleachman - later pages makes it clear its "Gold Mines Valley" My bad, sorry!
