A very hot, windy day, with much hot sun Magherabeg, 5 miles S. of Wicklow (as before). 1, 2, 3 & 4 same as on 9/7/26; but 2 not visited.

[[insertion]] When returning this specimen R.C.L.P. said in note date 30.X.27 that he was never satisfied that we had not a 4th sp. of Pemphredon & that this was far too clearly punctured to be normal [[underlined]] shuckardi [[/underlined]] ! [[underlined]] Hedychridium ardens [[/underlined]]. One swept off flowers of [[underlined]] Enphorbia (paralia [[/underlined]].?) between rises & cliffs.
