15/7/26. A fine warm day but not so hot as previous days & getting dull later: very windy.
11.30 AM. Pucks Bridge, 1/2 mile S. of Ennereilly, Co. Wicklow.
[[underlined]] Megachile maritima [[/underlined]] 3 [[2 female symbols]], others seen on sandy bluff about 100 yards N. of stream, where single [[female symbol]] taken on 4/7/26. It was probably this species which had been [[insertion]] [[checkmark]] [[/insertion]] responsible for the cutting of the Ash leaves (inland of the road) at this place, observed in August 1925! A.W.S.
