7/11/26. Took on mossy rock (amongst small Diptera) a small ichneumon, in Church Glen, Clogh league (upper Liffey Valley). Co. WI.
Also brought home head of rushes with [[strikethrough]] Psychid [[/strikethrough]] [[underlined]] Coleophora [[/underlined]] sp. cases adhering to same, collected at about 1,200 ft. of slope of Seefinn, S. of Shankill camp site & on the following Monday (8th) morning found in box a small, very beautiful, yellow & green, Eulophid (chalcid). In the seeds of the rushes ([[underlined]] Juncus acutiflorus [[/underlined]]) small holes may be seen, as if some insect had emerged. Possibly others did & so & escaped out of the box as it had holes in each end, or the chalcid may have been hiding in the rush or parasites on the [[strikethrough]] Psychids [[/strikethrough]] Coleophora ! Or the rush flowers may have been galled by Cecids & the chalcid parasite on the Cecids!
