Cocoon of Braconid found on grass leaf by A. A. Lisney at about 1,200 ft. alt. but never hatched!
[on return home, I found a specimen, [[female symbol]], of [[underlined]] Meliorus [[/underlined]] sp. inside the motor. Probably this came from Powerscourt, just below deerpark, where I left the motor & J.A.J. Palmer was gathering cones of Douglass Fir : possibly it came out of the cone or possibly it hatched out of some cocoon hidden in the motor for a longtime & therefore habitat uncertain & will label it "motor", Co. Du on WI ?, 6.11.27! A.W.S.
