SECOND FIELD EXCURSION
Saturday, 2nd June, 1928,
TO PORTMORE DISTRICT.
Conductors: - THE GENERAL AND SECTIONAL SECRETARIES.

This excursion will take the form of a preliminary inspection of Portmore and district, an area selected by the Committee as suitable for a regional survey. All members can render assistance in the work, which will embrace the various branches of the club's activities. An outline of the scheme will be given at the excursion. 

The area has the following boundaries: - 
North - Glenavy River, from mouth to Leap Bridge.
East - Road from Leap Bridge to Lower Ballinderry.
South - Road from Lower Ballinderry to Gawleys Gate.
West - Shore of Lough Neagh from Gawleys Gate to mouth of Glenavy River.

TIME TABLE -
Motors leave Museum, College Sq. North, at 10.0 a.m.
Arrive Gawleys Gate about 11.0 a.m.
Leave Tunny Bridge for Glenavy River at 2.0 p.m.
Leave Glenavy River for Lower Ballinderry at 4.45 p.m.
Tea at Lower Ballinderry School at 5.0 p.m.
Leave for Belfast at 8.0 p.m.
Members and friends provide their own lunch.
Cost of Excursion (including tea) -
Members, 7/6; Non-members, 8/6; 
Members using own cars, 3/-.
