14th August 1928. A fine morning with much hot sun but heavy showers from noon onwards spoiled the afternoon. 
Worked right (west) bank of R. Blackwater below Cappoquin for four miles below town, Co. WA.
1. Quarry on road by river opposite C. & S. of railway bridge at Cappoquin. [[line]]

15th August 1925. A cool day with N. wind & a good deal of sun.  Worked quarries on right bank of R. Blackwater [[encircled]] 1 [[/encircled]] [[insertion]] ^ & field of Angelica (2 mile S.W.) [[encircled]] 2 [[/encircled]] [[/insertion]] below Cappoquin (1/2 mile!) in morning & [[insertion]] ^ open glade in [[/insertion]] woods about two miles above Lismore, along R. in afternoon.  Then drove to the Gap, in Knockmealdown & home. Much nice ground along river to the Gap like floor of Glencree!
